Field Notes
We tried using a kicknet and a trap, but didn't catch any crayfish that way. We found this crayfish by accident. It sort of found us while we were looking for submerged plants. We saw 4 crayfish in Milliken Mills Pond.
Supporting Evidence
This is one of the crayfish we saw at Milliken Mills Pond. We are not sure what kind of crayfish it is. It may not be big enough to identify. It is only 3.5cm long from its eyes to the tip of its tail.

Milliken Pond crayfish
Hello!
Your crayfish looks like it is Orconectes limosus, the spinycheek crayfish, based on the spines on the side of the head in the photo and the coloration on the tip of the claws. The photo of the pleopods supports this identification, but for a more confident identification I would need to see a photo of the pleopods shot from the side (with the crayfish held upside down, facing to the left.)
Great work!
